Consistently reliable hardware
This isn't my first order from OpenBuilds. I've bought V-Slot Linear Rail and some GT2 Timing Belts from them before. This time I needed more Aluminum Spacers and Drop In Tee Nuts for an expansion. Just like previous times, the parts were exactly as described and the quality was consistent. Shipping took about 4 days to get to me, which is what I expect. I keep coming back because I know I'll get good parts without any surprises, and their inventory usually has what I need for my projects.
Solid Lead Screw, but packaging could improve
I bought a Lead Screw and some Nut Blocks for a new build. The Lead Screw itself is good quality, straight and well-machined, seems like it will perform well. Delivery was fairly quick, took 5 days to reach my workshop in Ohio. My one minor complaint is that the packaging for the smaller parts, like the Nut Blocks, was a bit loose in the box. Nothing was damaged, but it could have been secured better to prevent shifting. Customer service was not needed, so I can't speak to that. Overall, I'm satisfied with the product and the value, just a small detail on the packing.
